Frequently Asked Questions
What pool chemicals do I need for weekly maintenance?+
At minimum, you need chlorine (tablets or liquid), pH adjuster (muriatic acid or soda ash), and a test kit. For Texas pools, we also recommend CYA stabilizer and algaecide during summer months. Our chemical kits bundle everything you need.
How do I choose the right robotic pool cleaner?+
Consider your pool size, surface type, and debris load. For most DFW pools, a mid-range robotic cleaner with wall-climbing capability handles Texas leaves and dust perfectly. Browse our vacuum comparison guide or ask our team for a personalized recommendation.
Do you offer free water testing?+
Yes! Bring a water sample to our Northlake store at 1611 Commons Cir Suite 100 and we will test it for free. We check chlorine, pH, alkalinity, CYA, calcium hardness, and phosphates — then recommend exactly what your pool needs.
What is the difference between liquid chlorine and tablets?+
Liquid chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) works immediately and does not add CYA to your pool, making it ideal for weekly shocking. Tablets (trichlor) dissolve slowly for sustained sanitation but add CYA over time. Most pros use a combination of both.
Can I get the same products the professionals use?+
Absolutely. Every product in our catalog is the same commercial-grade supply our certified technicians use on service routes. No watered-down retail versions — you get pro results at home.
