Multi-Layered Filtration
The Scuba X1 Pro Max uses a dual-stage filtration system with two swappable filter options designed for different debris environments — a coarse mesh filter for high-debris situations with heavy leaf and organic material loads, and a replaceable ultra-fine MicroMesh™ filter that captures algae spores, fine dust, sand, silt, and microscopic particles down to 3 microns. To put that in perspective, a human hair is approximately 70 microns wide — meaning the MicroMesh™ filter captures particles more than 20 times finer than that, including contaminants that are entirely invisible to the naked eye but contribute to cloudy, chemically imbalanced water. The MicroMesh™ filter uses hydrophilic fibers in a unique 5mm thick multi-layer structure that actively draws fine particles in and traps them rather than allowing them to pass through or recirculate back into the pool. Being replaceable rather than permanent, the filter can be swapped out when it reaches the end of its effective lifespan without replacing the entire unit, keeping long-term maintenance costs manageable. The top-access filter compartment makes post-cycle emptying and rinsing quick and tool-free, and the ability to switch between coarse and fine filters gives you the flexibility to match the filtration level to your pool's current conditions and debris load.
Seamless App Monitoring
The Aiper app gives you complete visibility and control over the Scuba X1 Pro Max from your phone — covering everything from mode selection and scheduling to live cleaning progress, battery status, water quality data, and fault alerts all in one centralized dashboard. Unlike most robotic pool cleaners that lose their app connection the moment they go underwater, the X1 Pro Max maintains a live connection through the optional HydroComm Pro device, allowing you to switch cleaning modes, check battery levels, and monitor status in real time without ever pulling the robot out of the water mid-cycle. On flat pool floors it runs efficient S-pattern sweeps for maximum coverage with minimal overlap, while on walls and the waterline it transitions to N-pattern paths optimized for vertical surface cleaning. When the robot encounters slopes, depth transitions, or hopper-style pool bottoms, it automatically adjusts its path angle and speed to maintain consistent suction contact rather than drifting or losing traction on the incline. For complex layouts with steps, in-pool platforms, raised benches, or California beach entries, FlexiPath™ 2.0 recognizes the elevation change and adapts its approach accordingly — cleaning the platform surface rather than simply navigating around it. Will the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max clean my entire pool — floor, walls, waterline, and surface?
Aiper lists all four for the Pro Max — floor, walls, waterline and surface — plus elevated platforms and slopes, from one cordless robot. (The Beatbot P300 Pro we also sell lists the same four areas; our vacuum guide compares them.)
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Aiper lists up to 5 hours of floor cleaning per charge (3.5 hours in Max mode) or up to 10 hours of surface skimming only, and 4 hours to recharge. The 10-hour figure is surface mode — plan on the floor figure for a full floor, wall and waterline clean.
What size pool can it handle?
Aiper lists in-ground pools up to 3,230 sq ft (300 m²) and 100 ft (30 m) long, with concrete, fiberglass, vinyl or tile finishes.
Is Simplified Pools an authorized Aiper dealer?
Yes. The Scuba X1 Pro Max carries Aiper’s 36-month (3-year) warranty in the US, starting on the day it is delivered. Aiper’s policy requires proof of purchase from Aiper or an authorized reseller and does not cover purchases from unauthorized or personal resellers. The charging dock, hook, adapter and caddy carry 6 months; filters are consumables.
