Benefits & What Makes It Different
20-Inch Wide Mouth
The oversized opening allows for efficient debris collection in fewer passes, which is particularly useful for homeowners running cleanups after heavy storms.
Triple-Stitched Fine Mesh
Captures small particles like gnats and silt while maintaining tear resistance under the weight of heavy, wet leaves and twigs.
Surface-Safe Rounded Frame
The weighted plastic edge protects vinyl liners, fiberglass, and plaster from the gouging or scratching often caused by generic metal-edged rakes.
Compatibility
- Standard 1-1/4 inch telescopic poles
- Vinyl, fiberglass, plaster, and tile surfaces
When To Use This
Pro Tip
To extend the life of the fine mesh, always store the rake out of direct sunlight when not in use; UV rays are the primary cause of mesh brittleness and eventual tearing.
Common Questions & Instructions
How long does a Piranha Pro leaf rake bag typically last before replacement?
In our experience, the triple-stitched bag reliably handles 1 to 2 seasons of heavy use, though high UV exposure and frequent snagging on sharp stone coping can reduce this lifespan.
Will this leaf rake fit my existing telescopic pool pole?
The Piranha Pro is designed with a standard connection point that fits any universal 1-1/4 inch telescopic pool pole, ensuring a secure fit for precise control around steps and skimmers.
Can I use this rake for fine debris like sand or small insects?
Yes, the fine mesh bag is specifically engineered to trap small particles and insects that would pass through a standard coarse-mesh rake, making it ideal for finishing cleanups.
