Clarifier or flocculant for my cloudy pool?
Clarifier if the water is mildly hazy and your filter runs fine — it works over 2-3 days. Flocculant for heavy cloudiness when you can vacuum to waste — it works overnight but the debris must be vacuumed out, not filtered.
Why is my pool still cloudy after shocking?
Dead algae is fine white dust your filter struggles to catch. Run the filter 24/7, add clarifier, and expect 2-4 days. If it is not improving, bring a sample in — high calcium hardness can also cloud DFW water.
