Polaris’s warranty termsProduct Overview
A cordless, dedicated robotic solution for hot tubs that eliminates the need for manual vacuuming or bulky hose attachments.
For homeowners looking to automate hot tub maintenance, the Polaris SpaBot™ is a proven choice that eliminates the need for manual vacuuming. This self-contained unit features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and an internal fine-particle filter, allowing it to scrub spa floors and walls independently. Unlike standard pool robots, its compact footprint is specifically engineered to navigate the tight radii and seating areas found in modern portable and inground spas, and it currently qualifies for a $50 manufacturer rebate.

A cordless robot for spas and hot tubs — not pools.
The Polaris Spabot (SB1000) is built for in-ground spas and portable hot tubs up to 9 ft × 9 ft. It runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, cleans the floor, seats and walls in a 60-minute cycle, and floats up when it is done. Polaris says it is not intended for pools.
SpaNav Technology
Polaris built it to move along a spa’s curves and corners — floors, benches and concave seating.
Cord-Free
A rechargeable lithium-ion battery; plug it into an indoor outlet to charge between cycles (4 h, per Polaris).
Float Finish Retrieval
At the end of its cycle it floats to the surface so you can lift it out.
1 L Canister with a Clear Lid
Rotating brushes channel debris into a canister that holds up to 1 liter; the clear lid shows when it is full.
Polaris’s warranty
1 year from the date of retail purchase — Polaris's limited warranty, for the first retail purchaser in the US and Canada. Wear items are not covered: filter canister and brushes. Polaris’s terms

Benefits & What Makes It Different
Cordless Lithium-Ion Power
Provides multiple cleaning cycles on a single charge, removing the trip hazards and setup time associated with traditional corded vacuums.
Surface-Safe Scrubbing
The SpaBot's durable brushes are gentle on spa surfaces but highly effective at loosening stubborn particles like sand and skin cells.
Fine-Particle Filtration
An easy-access filter canister captures debris as small as hair and silt, ensuring water clarity without taxing the spa's primary cartridge filter.
Compatibility
- Safe for all spa surfaces including acrylic, fiberglass, vinyl, and tile
- Designed for use in both portable hot tubs and inground spas
- Works in water depths up to 5 feet
When To Use This
Pro Tip
To extend the life of the internal seals, always ensure the SpaBot is fully dry before placing it on the charging dock, and never leave it submerged in high-temperature water (above 104°F) for extended periods when not in use.
Common Questions & Instructions
How often should I clean the Polaris SpaBot filter canister?
To maintain optimal suction and performance, the fine-particle filter should be removed and rinsed with a garden hose after every cleaning cycle.
Will the SpaBot climb the walls and seats of my hot tub?
Yes, the SpaBot is engineered with intelligent sensors to navigate floor-to-wall transitions and can climb most spa seating areas to ensure total coverage.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
The lithium-ion battery supports several 60-minute cleaning cycles per charge and includes a dedicated indoor charging base for convenient power replenishment.
