White Back-Up Valve Case Kit for Polaris® Pool Cleaner
Product Overview
Replace cracked outer casing on your Polaris back-up valve without buying an entire internal gear assembly.
If your Polaris pressure cleaner is losing drive pressure due to water spraying continuously from the seam of the valve body, the Polaris G54 case kit restores a watertight shell. Engineered as direct factory replacement housing for the G52 back-up valve, this kit encloses your existing internal gear mechanism on Vac-Sweep 180, 280, and 380 models.

When To Use This
Pro Tip
When transferring the internal mechanism into the new G54 shell, confirm the internal nozzle seats squarely in the case guide before tightening the collar; cross-threading or misaligning it will pinch the internal drive and prevent the valve from cycling.
Common Questions & Instructions
Does this G54 case kit include the internal mechanism?
No. The G54 kit contains only the outer clamshell casing, collar, and O-ring. It is designed to reuse your existing, operational G52 internal gear drive.
How do I know if I need just the case or the whole valve?
If water sprays continuously from the case seam or crack, but the valve still cycles flow every 3 to 4 minutes to back the cleaner up, you only need this G54 shell. If it never cycles or remains stuck in back-up mode, the internal mechanism has failed.
Is replacing the G54 case a difficult DIY repair?
It is an easy DIY repair requiring about five minutes and a Phillips screwdriver. Simply unthread the collar, transfer your internal mechanism, align the locator pins, and secure the new case.
