Common Questions & Instructions
How much Poolife pH Plus do I add per 10,000 gallons of pool water?
Dosage depends on total alkalinity: at 50 ppm alkalinity, add 8 oz at pH 7.0, 48 oz at pH 6.6, or 80 oz at pH 6.4 per 10,000 gallons. At 100 ppm alkalinity, add 12 oz at pH 7.0, 92 oz at pH 6.6, or 144 oz at pH 6.4 per 10,000 gallons.
How long after adding Poolife pH Plus can you swim?
Broadcast the granules evenly with the pump running and wait at least 2 hours before re-testing water chemistry and swimming.
Does Poolife pH Plus raise total alkalinity along with pH?
Yes, Sodium Carbonate will moderately increase total alkalinity while raising pH, so always verify total alkalinity is within the recommended 80–120 ppm target.
