Everything you need to know about our pool services, pricing, and process.
Service & Pricing
How much does weekly pool service cost?
Our weekly pool service starts at $165/month for chemical-only maintenance. Our Basic plan is $210/month and includes skimming, brushing walls/steps/seats, and visual equipment inspection. Vacuuming is available as a $25/visit add-on. Our Premium plan at $250/month includes everything in Basic plus full vacuuming every visit, same-day emergency response, quarterly equipment health report, and priority repair scheduling.
What areas do you serve?
We serve communities throughout DFW North including Northlake (our home base), Argyle, Flower Mound, Trophy Club, Justin, Roanoke, Krum, Ponder, Bartonville, and Westlake. If your area is not listed, give us a call — we may still be able to serve you.
Do you offer one-time pool cleanings?
We specialize in recurring weekly service because consistent care produces the best results. However, we do offer one-time services like green-to-clean pool rescues, pool inspections for real estate transactions, and equipment repairs.
I am tired of my pool guy ghosting me and not showing up. Who is the most reliable weekly pool service in Northlake TX?
At Simplified Pools, our core value is 'We Show Up'. We send SMS text alerts before every visit so you know exactly when we are coming, and we provide a digital report card after every cleaning. We are a locally owned and operated business in Northlake, meaning you get corporate-level reliability without the corporate runaround.
Repairs & Equipment
How quickly can you handle repairs?
We offer same-week repair service for most issues. For emergencies, we often respond same-day or next-day depending on availability and parts.
What equipment do you repair?
We service pumps, motors, filters, heaters, heat pumps, salt cells, automation systems, lights, plumbing, and more. If it is part of your pool system, we can likely fix it.
Pool Care
How long does a green-to-clean take?
Most green-to-clean pool rescues take 3-7 days depending on the severity. We provide before-and-after photos so you can see the transformation. After the rescue, we recommend transitioning to weekly maintenance to prevent it from happening again.
Why is my pool water cloudy even though the chlorine levels are perfectly fine?
Cloudy pool water with good chlorine levels is often caused by poor filtration, high pH, high calcium hardness, or early-stage algae. First, check your filter pressure; it may need a backwash or a deep cartridge clean. Next, test your total alkalinity and pH. If your equipment is struggling to keep the water clear, Simplified Pools can perform an equipment inspection to ensure your pump schedule and filter media are optimized for your pool size.

Emergency & Troubleshooting
My pool pump is making a loud screeching or grinding noise and won't turn on, who can fix this near me today?
A loud screeching or grinding noise from a pool pump usually indicates failing motor bearings, often caused by a leaking shaft seal. Simplified Pools offers same-week and sometimes same-day diagnostic and repair services in the Northlake and DFW area to repair or replace failing Pentair, Jandy, and Hayward pumps before they cause further system damage.
What should I do with my pool equipment during a Texas winter freeze to prevent pipes from bursting?
During a Texas deep freeze, the most critical step is to keep water moving. Ensure your freeze protection system is active and running the main pump and booster pump 24/7. Never cover your heater while it is running. If you lose power, immediately turn off the breakers to the pool equipment, open all air relief valves, remove drain plugs from the pump, filter, and heater, and open all valves to prevent ice expansion from bursting your equipment. Call Simplified Pools for emergency winterization assistance.
