Troubleshooting
Pump loses prime or has air in the basket
Possible Causes
- Worn or dry lid o-ring
- Air leak on the suction side (unions, drain plugs, valves)
- Low water level
How to Fix
Check the lid o-ring and seat it clean, tighten suction unions and drain plugs, and bring the water to mid-skimmer.
Won't start; the display shows 19
Possible Causes
- Motor start failure — can mean a locked rotor
How to Fix
Power off and check that the shaft and impeller turn freely; clear debris from the impeller. There is no start capacitor on this motor.
Display shows 0F or 0b
Possible Causes
- Supply voltage under 99 V (0F) or over 251 V (0b)
How to Fix
Measure the supply at the pump and check the breaker and wiring.
