High pH levels can cause eye and skin irritation, reduce the effectiveness of chlorine, and lead to scale buildup on pool surfaces and equipment. Poolife pH Minus helps you correct this by keeping your pool water within the ideal pH range of 7.2 to 7.6 ppm.

By stabilizing your water chemistry, this product not only improves swimming comfort but also extends the life of your pool’s surfaces, plumbing, and sanitizing system. It’s suitable for use in all pool types and works seamlessly alongside chlorine, bromine, saltwater, and mineral-based systems.

Use Poolife® pH Minus as part of your regular pool care routine to ensure clear, balanced, and comfortable swimming conditions all season long.
Lowering your pH:
~ If your pH is 7.6-7.9, add 8 oz per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
~ If your pH is 8.0-8.4, make sure to add 16 oz per 10,000 gallons of water.
~ If your pH is above 8.4, add 24 oz per 10,000 gallons of water.
Lowering your alkalinity:
~ Add 2 lb per 10,000 gallons of water to lower alkalinity by 10 ppm.
Lowering your pH:
1. Use the Poolife 6-Way Test Kit to assess the pH level of your pool water.
2. Refer to the product's dosage instructions to ascertain the appropriate amount of this product to use.
Lower your alkalinity:
~ Maintain the total alkalinity of your pool water between 60-120 ppm. Monthly, check the total alkalinity using the Poolife 6-Way Test Kit.
1. Use 2 lb of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water to reduce alkalinity by 10 ppm.
2. Ensure the circulation pump is operational.
3. Apply this product at one location in the deep end of the pool.
4. Avoid applying close to walls and metal fixtures.
5. Continue this process daily until the alkalinity reaches the desired level.
Usage:
1. Spread this product across the deepest area of the pool.
~ For shallow pools (4 feet deep or less), dissolve the product in a bucket of water before introducing it to the pool.
~ Remember to always add the product to water, not the other way around.
~ Sodium Bisulfate: 92%.
~ Constituents Ineffective as adjuvants: 8%.

How to test your water

Ideal levels: pH 7.2–7.6, Chlorine 1–4 ppm, Alkalinity 80–120 ppm.
Other Levels: Keep an eye on other levels like Calcium Hardness, CYA, Phosphates, etc. Some of these levels will have specific ranges depending on your pool
